Course Details

Online Module: UEECD0007 Apply Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.

Face to Face Module: UEERL0003 Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord assemblies and cord connected equipment.

We train you on all of the most popular Portable Appliance testers such as Wavecom series, U-Test 376t, Metrel & Seaward testers. You can also bring your own Tester along to the course for training

We provide a comprehensive training programme, often exceeding the requirements of Work Cover.

With fully qualified and experienced Trainers & Assessors the training you receive will be second to none.

Courses are conducted on a regular basis around NSW, ACT, VIC & QLD. We limit our course size to give you the opportunity to fully participate.

Course Type: Standard Test & Tag Training Course (Non Accredited)

Course Fees: $330 incl GST

Face To Face Module: 1 Day Course. Starts at 8am and finishes at 5pm.

Course Details

This course is designed for those who do not wish to complete the Nationally Recognised course but would still like to conduct electrical test and tagging. The course meets the requirements of both the Australian Standards and the WHS Regulations Code of Practice ‘Managing Electrical Risks in the Workplace’ which states;

Inspection and testing of electrical equipment should only be carried out by a competent person who has the relevant knowledge, skills and test instruments to carry out the relevant inspection and testing. The person carrying out any testing of electrical equipment should also be competent to interpret the test results of any equipment they use. For example, a person carrying out testing should be:

  • A licensed electrician, or
  • A licensed electrical inspector, or
  • A person who has successfully completed a structured training course and been deemed competent in the use of a pass-fail type portable applicant tester and the visual inspection of electrical equipment
  • 1 Day Face to Face
  • Receive a Statement of Attendance

Important Information

A competent person MUST produce their Statement of Attainment / Certificate on request to an employer, Work Cover inspector, principal contractor, contractor or elected WHS or authorised representative.

Approved by the Office of Fair Trading to earn 16 CPD points for the Nationally Recognised course and 8 points for the Standard course.

We can also arrange to conduct a private course at your workplace.

We limit our course size so as to give everyone the opportunity to participate with individual attention. All attendees receive our comprehensive training manual containing the Essential Guide to the AS3760:2022.
